Wow, that's awesome about the guitar. We were given an acoustic guitar nearly ten years ago, and I always wanted to play it but never had time to actually learn it, being busy with violin, piano, and occasionally viola and cello.
And a real vintage typewriter! *goggles* That is simply fantastic.
I also agree about heat being nasty... but I think cold is even worse. I can still move around when it's hot, though it's miserable; when it's cold, I simply freeze right through, and feel as though I can't move a muscle other than to shiver violently. (Which is yet another reason I love England so much: they don't get -30 degree winter weather like we do in ND. And you needn't shovel a foot of snow off a quarter-mile driveway either, which is an added benefit.)
