I am attempting to come up with something really scintillating and fascinating to write here.

So, um, does Sirius Satelite Radio and its alleged omnipresence, omnipotence, and general mind-reading ability (as displayed in the television commercials, albeit discounted) have anything at all to do with my Sirius theories? At all? Because can't you see Sirius thinking one day: "I'm bored. I think I will start a company. With the proceeds, I can probably fund my hunt for the Other Curtain and my other selves." (Businessman!Sirius is an irrationality all its own, so we will just ignore that part. Even if it is desperately amusing.)

I giggled the first time I heard about Sirius radio and that the mascot was a dog, even though I knew it was named after the star and not Sirius...but still...

I can equally see Sirius saying, several months later, when everything is going magnificently, "Well, I'm bored. I think I'll start a travel agency." ^-^

My dad has been considering getting Sirius Radio, and I want him to so BADLY, just for the random squeeing possibilities and general amusement. Because you can't get more awesome than finding a Sirius-song on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Maybe he got a business partner, and left most of the business to him or her? I could see that, Sirius just picking out the options, and what he likes.

But, yeah, I did think of Sirius when Sirius Satellite Radio came out. And just now I was reading the adds, and I thought I saw the words 'Sirius Black'. Since my head reads words out of order sometimes when I scan them, and it changed 'back' to 'Black'. My mind is funny.

But I could also see him behind the new comercials, they seem like his kind of humor.

Yes, he would definitely make someone else do all the real work, and he'd be lounging with his feet propped on his desk and playing with the Sharpies. But he would be wearing a suit, which is undeniably attractive. ^-^

Drat. Now I can't get the image of Sirius sitting at a desk clicking a retractable pen over and over out of my head.

OMG. *sporfle* I didn't know there was a 'Sirius' radio. Sounds like the Best Thing Ever. (Clannad has a song called 'Sirius', though, which amuses me far more than it ought.)

And I like the thought of businessman!Sirius. Almost as good as journalist!Sirius, indeed.




Off-topic, but: I was uploading some Indian music for one of my friends, and thought (for some reason) that you might like this song (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=ED53E9E000CE360A), even if you don't know the language, because...um. It's all pretty and has interesting musical backing and stuff.

If I find out that there's an entire Bob Dylan station on Sirius Radio, I will die with the squee. (It's possible. I know for a fact that they have a station that plays nothing but Elvis. Which is just cruel, if you ask me.)

Downloaded song; thankee! Modern Indian music is definitely something I have never listened to, so merely in that respect it's interesting, but as the song itself goes, there's a lot going on in the music, which is fun, and it is pretty (it sounds sparkly; does that make any sense at all?). (Also, I listen to scads of stuff in Gaelic and LotR scores, so I'm used to unfamiliar language.)

Someone save me from my own parentheses. *headdesk*
