I am beginning to feel as though I've been wandering in black and white and suddenly I can see colours again.
Isn't that an amazing feeling? I remember likening it to having been dead for years without really knowing it and just then coming alive again. 'Course...that was when my first medication was still working...and I'm not sure my second medication is still working...but all the same. That feeling of finally waking up is beautiful. That's really when you start realizing just how miserable you were, too, and for how long, now that you're finally coming back to more like normal.
