And Things And Stuff

Things I Ought To Do:

1. Finish my Claire fic. And my ickle!Ginny fic. And my ickle!Tonks fic, which I haven't mentioned before and which involves pigtails and Sirius. And those little fragment fics that are taking up space on the computer, and those Legends of the Guardian-King fics that are taking up space in my head, and Calling the Moon, and my three novels in progress, while I'm at it.
2. Lose ten pounds or so.
3. Actually post on the Sugar Quill. (After being part of forums where I'm either more intelligent than everyone--which is a dismal thing to be--or a part of a very small and intimate group of posters, all these intelligent people are bloody intimidating! Augh! Fascinating, but intimidating.)
4. Find where all my pens and guitar picks have gone. I have one pen on my bedside table, and as for picks, I don't know if there are any out in the open at the moment.
5. Actually learn those bedimmed major seventh barre chords, or whatever the plague they are.

Things I Ought Not To Do:

1. Tell Snape to "never wear black without the blue: Selsun Blue!" Really, can I help it if that's what the commercials always end up making me think?
2. Have long, definitely two-sided conversations with Remus (or anyone else of the paper-and-ink sort, for that matter) in my kitchen. Yes. Go away.
3. Mutter nasty things in Sindarin when people bother me.
4. Ask Lydia to send me some sea wasps from Australia. (But deadly jellyfish are so cute! And my homeschool co-op would be thrilled! NO! NO! BAD BANUI! NO!)
5. Buy clothing and accessories becuase they look like things that certain fictional characters, both of whom have oddly coloured hair, would have in their fictional closets. Especially since one of the fictional characters is my own, which essentially means I am taking fashion advice from myself and pretending otherwise.
