answer to gloom: dye hair neon shades?

So, yes. I've not had much time on the internet the last several days, and I'm going on a very brief holiday tomorrow to spend the fifth of July with extended family (Dad's parents and several of his siblings and my cousins), but I suppose I'm less...manic, at the moment, a little quieter, a lot tireder. Though I had a good day, having my hair dyed and playing with kittens and hobnobbing with people and setting off sparklers and suchlike, and now I am terrifically sleepy and have to go do the dishes and then go to sleep before we drive off tomorrow. (Four hours there and four hours back, all in the same day. On the one hand, aaaaaaack. On the other hand, I haven't got to test out the road-trip usefulness of my iPod yet, seeing as the last time we drove a great distance he was in the hospital shop, poor thing.)

Jolene...I seriously can't even tell you (and I hope you believe me when I say this) how very intensely much I love you. You are such a wonderful, precious, amazing, unique person, no matter what those voices in your head tell you. I promise you that I know how you feel, and it WILL change . I know you feel that you have no power to fix things...you may never feel like you can...but you do, and you will, even without realising it. You have an indomitable strength, whether you know it or not, and you will get through this, every step of it, to be a better stronger person.
You are meant for more that you can even begin to imagine...that's something I know in my soul's core.
And on a lighter note...you hair=the most awesome and win thing I've seen in a long long time. Only you can pull that off...and you pull it off amazingly.
