I am really beginning to think that it may turn out to be an excellent idea to hold [profile] lady_moriel hostage so that when the time comes she may  NEVER EVER LEAVE ME.

Yes, we are having a grand time, and I'm so pleased that there are no awkward silences and I'm not feeling the need to desocialise, despite having had far more socialisation than usual this week -- not only with my splendidest Kyra, but with Alessandra's wedding and a party where sort of a lot of it happened in my back yard, and I really haven't time to give any of these things justice, but I do want to tell you lot that I am still here, and quite happy, except we are practically out of flour, and I am developing a lack-of-sugary-baked-goods eye twitch... However Mum has gone to the supermarket: ergo, huzzah. Also there are Plans in the future and life is quite delicious just now, I might add.

I'm glad you're having a good week. I really would love to hear all about Alessandra's wedding! I've never been to a wedding, but I'm sure they're one of the loveliest things. I hope I can come and visit you one day! :)

So I just discovered (or re-discovered and took the time to read) Neil Gaiman's blog. It is MADE OF SHINY, SHINY AWESOME. LIKE, REALY, REALLY AWESOME.

The image he sent from the aiport in China of the toliets had me bursting into giggles. Seriously, dalek bathrooms would be um. interesting. (what ever would they need them for?) And um, VENUS FLYTRAPS. :DD

I have to go and read all his books now. -snort-

Not feeling the need to have to recover from socialising, like it's some sort of traumatic event, is always wonderful. I'm so pleased you're having a good time. ♥

I know, right? It was almost surreal, that I didn't need to -- realign myself, which I almost always need to do (to my utter frustration). Presumably this is because Kyra and I are virtually extensions of each other by now. ;D

Delicious life is Very Good.

I am so glad it is awesome, this first in-the-flesh meeting of hearts.

I'm vaguely curious about the possibility of baked goods in the near future.

Well, there are chocolate cupcakes in the oven as I type: does that satisfy your curiosity? ^-^

Random: I figured out the college I was going to recommend. It's Emerson College, in Boston Massachusetts. They sent me a booklet today that's really cool... It's an art school, and has a TON of organizations and clubs to join, and a lot of opportunities to do magazines and different things. This is what one of the film-making students said:

"I see beauty in the most bizarre places and I have this overwhelming need to document it. There's an auto-graveyard on the outskirts of my town. The spider-webbed, smashed windshields, the cannibalized remains of an orange Cadillac with plaid seats--they get to me...I document the ghosts with my camera and my pen."

Anyway, the booklet is REALLY cool... Very well put together, and probably one of the best I've ever gotten. I'm not looking at going to Boston, but I thought you might be interested.

It's sort of expensive, though, but worth applying to and seeing if you get a scholarship.

Oh, that looks really lovely! And it's in Boston! Thanks so much for the link. I think I will see if I can get myself a booklet.

At the moment, we virtually have no money for my college, so scholarships are definitely The Thing. :p
